Yajnavalka Artist Richard Culling Awarded Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant
Richard Culling has been awarded the prestigious Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant of $10,000 for fiscal year 2009-2010. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Inc. was established in 1985 by the late Lee Krasner, one the leading abstract expressionist painters and the widow of Jackson Pollock. The foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to individuals of established ability who have worked as professional artists over a significant period of time and who can demonstrate financial need. Grants are for a one-year period. Two works by Richard Culling will become part of the foundation’s digital registry.
