J Lynn Kelly is a self taught artist whose influence came from the artists like Modigliani, Gauguin, Mondrian, Leger, Kandinsky and others. J Lynn perceives art as a personal experience where color and consciousness plays an important role in creating an emotionally charged space. This state of mind according to J Lynn is understood as ‘inspiration’ that precedes the process of making art. A viewer absorbs this emotion as shared by the artist through the medium of art.
