Thank you for your inquiry concerning our policy for reviewing portfolios and slides.

The artist selection process at Yajnavalka begins with having the artist’s work reviewed by our Curatorial Department. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to thoroughly examine individual portfolios and return them.  Our policy is to review slides or photos first and then, if appropriate, review original artwork. It is often necessary to hold on to a potential artists work for a period of time to see how it can be incorporated into the direction of our company.

We will also review website links, however we will NOT review unsolicited cd’s on our computers. If you elect to send a portfolio and a self-addressed stamped envelope is NOT enclosed, your slides or photos will not be returned. Please submit your website link or online portfolio at artist@yajnavalka.com.

Please include along with your slides or web-link the following materials:

• A current resume listing education, exhibition record, and collections.

• A short statement on the body of work represented.

• Any reviews or articles on past exhibitions.

After evaluating the material, we will be calling on certain artist to present, more formally, his or her portfolio. Thank you for considering Yajnavalka, for representation of your work.
